I had my Nth dinner at Maurino’s last night. In a similar way to Ratatouille’s final scene where the critic is flashed back to his childhood, and turned into a nice-good-qi guy: during last night culinary mystical trip I have been flashed back somewhere to the countryside of my childhood, travelled to ancient China and stopped by to India for a quick illumination.
Since we are what we eat, since last night I am a better person.
it is easier to notice the truth under this fact stated by Soundiner in a place like china - where finding genuine food is very difficult, in a city flooded with fast foods and take aways and fast eatings, with restaurants promoting ‘fake’ healthy food, where people are always in a rush and give little importance to what they eat.
A couple of soundinners have made me realize the truth about this statement and the importance of what we feed ourselves on.
i am a fan of the great mix between east and west tastes and this is the place where i found it come together. amazing to say that this place can be everywhere you want it to be!
Hi Lollo, si, that world’s age is still a mystery..like ours..
I realize that in our society, if a child born not “feeding with TV”, plays naturally, saying always hello and welcoming other children to play.
Otherwise the TV feeding causes imitations of leaders, opportunism, wars,
And medicines for people are drugs, alcohol, sex, religions, luxury, TV..
